With the
purchase of a CNC Center, our ability to provide our customers
with machining capabilities has grown immensely. Iowa
Aluminum is constantly providing continuous improvement to our
process capabilities by testing the market for new potential
business. It was determined through our extensive quoting
procedures that there was a tremendous need for machined
aluminum parts by potential customers looking for new suppliers
to meet their machining needs. |

New Addition!
Automatic Cut-Off Saw and Punching Unit

This new addition to our fabrication operation is capable of
punching one-hole, two-holes, and staking parts simultaneously,
with one operator that could run the saw and have time to
perform other tasks during the cycle. The results being
increased production, while reducing manpower thus allowing us
to pass the savings on to the customer. |

Cincinnati, 150-Ton Press
Brake (click for details)
We purchased a Cincinnati, 150-Ton Press
Brake with a 12-foot bed to enhance our fabrication
capabilities. The Press Brake is equipped with the latest
safety features to comply with OSHA Standards and can allow us
to punch, form, notch, bend and perform other fabrication
operations needed to meet our customers' requirements. |

Automatic Cut-Off Saw
Our automatic cut-off saw can cut extrusions up to six-inch
diameter in size and down to one-half inch in length and holding
within +/-.005" tolerance on cut length. |

Dual Miter Saw
Our dual miter saw is capable of mitering
lengths up to 144" and holding +/-.015" tolerance on cut length. |

Punch Press
Our punch
presses, 15-ton and 35-ton, are capable of punching aluminum
shapes and holding within +/-0.015" tolerance on hole locations. |

Tumble Deburring
Have a need for
burr-free parts? Our Tumble Deburring Machine can get those
nasty burrs from saw cuts down to a smooth finish and even in
spots that hand deburring can't touch. |

Cut-Off Saw
Our Precision
Cut-ff Saw can cut multiple lengths from 120" down to under 5"
and hold cut tolerances to under +/-.010". |
