Automatic Billet Saw |
|
|
The Automatic
Billet Saw automatically cuts billets mostly for Press-2
from 27" lengths down to 10" lengths, but it can also cut
billets for Press-1 at 17 " and 16" lengths when needed.
Press-1 utilizes billet sizes from 17" down to 13" lengths and
billet sizes lower than 16" lengths are cut on our Billet Band
Saw.
The Automatic Billet Saw will cut billets for Press-2 and load them onto a conveyor to the Gas Billet
Heater. The billets can be precut by the Press Operator
from the Press Controls, according to the work order requirement
allowing the Press Operator to schedule the size of billet without leaving the controls to perform the task. |
